Cup sizes come from the pod, not the machine

Vertuo pods brew five sizes. The two you'll meet most: Espresso (1.35 oz) shots like Voltesso — light, biscuity, the right pick if you drink lattes and want the milk to do some talking — and Lungo (7.7 oz) mugs like Odacio or Stormio, which replace a regular morning coffee.

Reading the intensity number

Nespresso's 1–13 intensity scale measures roast depth and body, not caffeine. Intensity 7 (Odacio) is a balanced daily driver; Stormio at 8 adds spice and body; anything 10+ is for people who like their coffee to push back. Caffeine is roughly similar across pods of the same size — a lungo carries more simply because it's a bigger pour.
