Watkins Pure Lemon Extract 11 oz Bottle — Concentrated 100% Pure Lemon Flavor for Baking & Cocktails

Watkins Pure Lemon Extract is a concentrated, 100% pure lemon extract designed to deliver bright lemon flavor to baking, beverages, and recipes without artificial colors or flavors.

Made from carefully selected natural lemon oils, Watkins Pure Lemon Extract carries a century-long family tradition of flavor craftsmanship. Packaged in an 11 oz. bottle, this extract is formulated for home bakers, bartenders, and cooks looking for a reliable, consistent lemon aroma and taste. It is non-GMO, gluten free, corn syrup free, and certified kosher, offering a pantry-ready way to boost citrus profiles in both sweet and savory dishes.

How will this lemon extract change my baking?

Watkins Pure Lemon Extract provides a concentrated lemon profile so a small amount goes a long way in cakes, cookies, icings, and custards. It blends uniformly into batters and frostings without altering texture or color, giving you that clear citrus note bakers aim for.

• Use 1 teaspoon for subtle lemon lift in a standard cake batter.
• Add to frostings and glazes for vivid aroma without thinning consistency.
• Mix into cookie dough for a dependable lemon backbone that survives baking.
• Stir into fillings like lemon curd for enhanced depth without extra acidity.

Can I use this extract in drinks and cocktails?

Yes — drops of this extract amplify lemon flavor in hot teas, lemonades, sodas, and cocktails without watering them down. Because it’s oil-based, it preserves aromatic top notes that evaporate from fresh juice, making it useful for small-batch or concentrated preparations.

• Stir a few drops into hot tea or a chilled pitcher of lemonade for instant zest.
• Shake into cocktail syrups or simple syrups to maintain citrus aroma.
• Use for mocktails and low-acid beverages where fresh juice is unsuitable.

What makes Watkins Pure Lemon Extract different from lemon juice or zest?

Unlike juice, the extract is concentrated and shelf-stable, offering consistent flavor without added liquid or extra acidity. Compared with zest, it avoids texture and provides a cleaner, longer-lasting aroma that mixes smoothly into recipes.

• Concentrated oils deliver strong scent and taste with small quantities.
• Stable at room temperature and retains potency over many uses.
• Ideal when liquid volume or pulp would upset a recipe’s balance.

How should I store and measure the extract for best results?

Keep the bottle tightly capped in a cool, dark pantry away from heat and direct sunlight to maintain flavor. Measure precisely with teaspoons or a small graduated dropper for repeatable results, since essential oils are potent and a little goes far.

• Store upright, sealed, and away from heat to prolong shelf life.
• Use measuring spoons or a dropper for accuracy in small recipes.
• Shake gently before use to ensure even distribution of oils.

Who is this for? Watkins Pure Lemon Extract suits home bakers, professional kitchens, drink artisans, and anyone who wants a trustworthy lemon flavor without adding liquid or artificial ingredients. If you routinely flavor frostings, syrups, sauces, baked goods, or beverages and need a Kosher, Non-GMO option crafted in the USA, this 11 oz. bottle delivers concentrated citrus aroma and taste with dependable performance.
