Raven's Brew Whole Bean Bruin Blend Coffee, Pack of 2 (12 oz ea) — Full‑City Roast, Low Acidity

Raven's Brew Bruin Blend is a full-city roasted whole bean coffee featuring a syrupy body and earthy, herbal notes—sold as two 12-ounce bags packaged with one-way valves for peak freshness.

Raven's Brew Bruin Blend brings together carefully sourced Arabica beans that are air-roasted to deliver a smooth, rich cup with restrained acidity. Packaged quickly after roasting into light-blocking, one-way valve bags, these two 12-ounce bags are designed to retain aroma and flavor until you grind and brew. The result is a versatile roast that performs well across methods—drip, French press, pour-over, and cold brew—while offering a decadent mouthfeel and subtle herbal complexity.

What flavor profile can I expect from Bruin Blend?

Bruin Blend leans toward a full-bodied, slightly syrupy character balanced by earthy and herbal tones rather than bright citrus acidity. The air-roasting method helps keep bitterness low and brings forward clearer, layered flavors that reward slower sipping.

• Syrupy, full mouthfeel for a satisfying finish
• Earthy base notes with delicate herbal highlights
• Low acidity for a smooth, crowd-pleasing cup
• Balanced roast character—neither overly dark nor too light

How should I brew Bruin Blend for best results?

This whole bean coffee is flexible across brewing techniques; grind size and brew time will shape the final cup. Use a medium grind for automatic drip brewers, coarse for French press, and fine for espresso-style extractions, then adjust dose to taste.

• Drip/Auto: medium grind, 1:15–1:17 coffee-to-water ratio
• French press: coarse grind, steep 4–5 minutes for full body
• Cold brew: coarse grind, 12–18 hour steep for mellow sweetness
• Pour-over: medium-fine grind, pour in pulses for clarity

How does Raven's Brew preserve freshness and roast quality?

Freshness starts moments after roasting: the beans are sealed quickly into bags with one-way valves that vent CO2 while blocking oxygen and light. Raven's Brew uses air-roasting to heat beans evenly, reducing scorching and preserving nuanced flavors.

• One-way valve bags protect aroma and prevent oxidation
• Light-blocking packaging reduces flavor degradation
• Air-roasting delivers consistent, cleaner roast development
• Rapid packaging after roast locks in peak flavor

How much coffee do I get and how long will it last?

This pack contains two 12-ounce bags of whole bean Bruin Blend—ample supply for household use or to share. Kept sealed and stored cool and dry, unopened bags stay close to peak for weeks; once opened, consume within a few weeks for best flavor.

• Quantity: 2 bags × 12 ounces = 24 ounces total
• Store airtight, away from light and heat after opening
• Grind just before brewing to maximize aroma and taste
• Use within 2–4 weeks after opening for optimal freshness

Who is this for? Raven's Brew Bruin Blend suits home brewers who want a dependable, full-bodied whole bean coffee that plays well with multiple brewing methods. It's a solid pick for those who prefer smoother cups with earthy and herbal character rather than bright, fruity acidity, and for people who value freshness-preserving packaging and meticulous roast technique.
