Nutiva Organic Liquid Coconut Oil 8 fl oz — Cold-Pressed, USDA Organic, Neutral Taste for Cooking & Skin

Nutiva Organic Liquid Coconut Oil (8 fl oz) is a cold-pressed, USDA-certified organic liquid coconut oil made from sustainably harvested, non-GMO Southeast Asian coconuts for cooking, baking, and personal care.

Nutiva’s liquid coconut oil is produced by cold-pressing fresh organic coconuts and removing the fats that solidify at room temperature to create a naturally pourable oil with a neutral taste. This 8 fl oz bottle is free from hexane and harsh chemicals, offering a clean, versatile option for medium-heat cooking, baking swaps, and everyday skin and hair routines. The oil’s mild flavor and stable performance make it a pantry staple for many dietary preferences, including vegan, paleo, ketogenic, and gluten-free lifestyles.

How does Nutiva liquid coconut oil perform in the kitchen?

Use this oil for sautéing, baking, salad dressings, or anywhere you’d reach for a neutral-flavored fat. It tolerates medium heat well and blends into recipes without imparting a strong coconut taste, so it’s a convenient substitute for olive oil or butter in many dishes.

• Medium-heat frying and sautéing up to moderate temperatures
• Neutral taste ideal for baked goods and sauces
• Liquid texture simplifies measuring and mixing
• Works as a replacement for oil or butter in many recipes

What makes Nutiva’s process different from other coconut oils?

Nutiva starts with organic, non-GMO coconuts that are sustainably harvested and cold-pressed immediately to lock in freshness. A USDA-certified organic method then separates out the solid fats so the final product remains liquid at cooler temperatures—without using hexane or other harmful solvents.

• Cold-pressed extraction preserves flavor and nutrients
• No hexane or chemical solvents used in processing
• USDA-certified organic sourcing and non-GMO ingredients
• Sustainably harvested from Southeast Asian coconuts

Can I use this oil for personal care and beauty?

Yes—this liquid coconut oil doubles as a simple, natural option for skin and hair routines. Its smooth texture makes it easy to apply as a moisturizer, makeup remover, or conditioning treatment without sticky residue when used sparingly.

• Light moisturizer for dry skin and hands
• Gentle eye makeup remover when applied on a cotton pad
• Deep-conditioning hair treatment when massaged and rinsed
• Base for DIY scrubs when mixed with sugar and essential oils

How should I store and use the 8 fl oz bottle to keep it fresh?

Keep the bottle in a cool, dark place away from direct heat and sunlight to preserve flavor and quality. Because this formula stays liquid at lower temperatures, it’s convenient for everyday use; seal tightly after use to prevent oxidation and maintain freshness.

• Store in a pantry or cupboard away from light and heat
• Reseal the cap after each use to avoid exposure to air
• Use within a reasonable timeframe for best flavor and performance
• Shake gently if shipped or stored in varied temperatures

Who is this for: Nutiva Organic Liquid Coconut Oil is suited to home cooks, bakers, and health-conscious shoppers who want a clean-label, versatile cooking oil that’s also useful in personal care. It appeals to people following plant-based, paleo, keto, or gluten-free diets, plus anyone seeking a chemical-free alternative for skin and hair maintenance. If you value USDA organic sourcing, non-GMO ingredients, and a sustainably produced pantry staple, this 8 fl oz bottle is a compact, multipurpose choice for kitchen and beauty routines alike.
