Gerber Stage 3 Banana Vanilla Yogurt Melts Snack Pouches, 1 oz Single-Serve, Quick-Dissolve Calcium for 8+ Months

Gerber Stage 3 Banana Vanilla Yogurt Melts are bite-sized, easy-dissolving snacks made with real banana and yogurt—formulated for babies 8 months and older learning to self-feed.

These melts combine fruit and yogurt flavors in a lightweight, crunchy texture that dissolves quickly on a baby’s tongue. Each single-serve pouch contains tiny pieces designed for small hands and emerging pincer grasp skills, delivering about 10% of the daily value of calcium per serving. Crafted under Gerber’s quality standards, the recipe contains no artificial flavors or artificial sweeteners and is intended to support safe, independent snacking during the transition to more solid foods.

How do these melts help a baby learn to self-feed?

The melts are small, firm enough to pick up, and engineered to soften and dissolve rapidly, helping babies practice picking, bringing food to their mouth, and coordinating chewing and swallowing. They’re sized for little fingers and provide a low-mess option for early independent eating.

• Tiny, lightweight pieces suitable for pincer grasp practice
• Quick-dissolve texture reduces choking risk when used as intended
• Portion-controlled 1 oz packs ideal for on-the-go feeding

Are these suitable for my 8-month-old?

Yes—these are labeled Stage 3 and recommended for babies 8 months and older who are showing readiness signs such as reaching for food, using fingers to eat, or chewing with their gums and jaws. Use supervision and follow your pediatric guidance when introducing new textures and flavors.

• Recommended for infants 8+ months as part of textured food introduction
• Best when baby can sit upright and reach for food independently
• Not a replacement for breastmilk or formula as a complete nutrition source

What’s inside each melt and are there additives to avoid?

Gerber Banana Vanilla Yogurt Melts include real banana and real yogurt ingredients and provide calcium, but they do not contain live and active cultures. The formula avoids artificial flavors and artificial sweeteners so caregivers can choose snacks with simpler ingredient profiles for their little ones.

• Made with real fruit and yogurt components for familiar taste
• Contains approximately 10% daily value of calcium per serving
• No artificial flavors or artificial sweeteners; does not contain live cultures

How should I serve and store these melts?

Serve straight from the pouch or a small dish to encourage self-feeding while supervising. Keep unopened pouches stored in a cool, dry place; discard any melts left in the open container after a short period to maintain freshness and safety.

• Serve supervised on a highchair tray or small plate
• Store unopened packs in a cool, dry cupboard away from direct heat
• Discard uneaten melts from an opened container to prevent contamination

Who is this for: Gerber Stage 3 Banana Vanilla Yogurt Melts suit caregivers introducing textured snacks to babies around eight months and older who are developing self-feeding skills. They work well for parents wanting convenient, portable snacks with recognizable flavors and modest calcium content, and for families seeking products without artificial flavors or sweeteners. These melts are intended as an occasional snack within a balanced infant feeding plan and should be offered under adult supervision as part of a varied diet.
