Gavina Nuevo Mundo Espresso Whole Bean Coffee 32 oz — Medium Roast, 100% Arabica, Bright Berry Notes

Gavina Nuevo Mundo Espresso is a 32 oz bag of medium-roast whole beans blended from 100% Arabica origins to deliver a bright, berry-like espresso with a smooth finish.

Rooted in a Cuban family roasting tradition and crafted in Los Angeles, this lighter espresso blend brings together Latin American, East African, and Indonesian beans. The result is an aromatic, versatile whole-bean coffee roasted to a medium level so you can grind to taste for espresso machines, moka pots, or other specialty brewers. The bag is sealed fresh and produced at Gavina’s zero-waste-to-landfill facility as part of their Direct Impact Initiative.

What flavor profile should I expect from Nuevo Mundo Espresso?

This blend emphasizes a vibrant, fruit-forward brightness with balanced sweetness and a gentle, smooth finish. Because it uses 100% Arabica beans and a medium roast, you’ll detect subtle berry notes and clear aromatics rather than heavy roast bitterness. It’s crafted to deliver clarity in the cup while retaining espresso body.

• Bright, berry-like acidity with balanced sweetness
• Medium roast clarity and aromatic presence
• Smooth finish suitable for straight espresso and milk drinks
• 100% Arabica origins for nuanced flavor

How should I grind and brew these whole beans for best results?

Grind size and brew method shape the final cup: fine for espresso, medium-fine for moka pots, and coarse for certain specialty brews that accept whole-bean espresso profiles. Start with your usual settings and adjust to taste—finer for more extraction, coarser for cleaner brightness. Fresh grinding just before brewing preserves the aromatic character.

• Espresso machines: fine espresso grind for concentrated shots
• Moka pot: medium-fine grind to emphasize sweetness
• Other specialty brewers: experiment with slightly coarser grinds
• Store sealed bag in a cool, dark place to maintain freshness

Is this coffee ethically sourced and how is it packaged?

Gavina blends and roasts the beans in their Los Angeles facility, which operates with a zero-waste-to-landfill commitment. The company’s Direct Impact Initiative supports ethical sourcing practices across the supply chain. The 32 oz bag is packed fresh to preserve aroma and is intended for home baristas and specialty-brew enthusiasts who value traceable roasting and sustainability efforts.

• Roasted and packed in Los Angeles at a zero-waste facility
• Direct Impact Initiative promotes responsible sourcing
• 32 oz format supplies multiple brewing sessions for home use
• Whole-bean form allows personalized grinding and brewing

How versatile is this blend across drinks and routines?

The medium-roast profile was designed to adapt to many preparations: it makes flavorful espresso shots, blends smoothly into milk-based drinks, and can be used in stovetop espresso makers for a richer cup. Because of its balanced acidity and smooth finish, it performs well both as a solo espresso and as the base for cappuccinos, lattes, or mixed coffee recipes.

• Ideal for straight espresso shots and ristretto-style pulls
• Integrates well into cappuccinos and lattes without overpowering milk
• Suitable for moka pot and other concentrated brew methods
• Whole beans provide flexibility for single-origin-style experimentation

Who is this for: Gavina Nuevo Mundo Espresso 32 oz is made for home baristas, small coffee shops, and lovers of Latin-style espresso who want a lighter, intricate Arabica blend in a large format. If you grind at home, enjoy experimenting with extraction, and prefer beans roasted with sustainability and family-roasting heritage in mind, this bag offers both volume and flavor consistency.
