ENCO Bright Blue Gel Food Coloring 8.8 oz — Concentrated Vegan Gel, Intense Pigment

ENCO Bright Blue Gel Food Coloring is a concentrated, vegan gel dye designed to deliver vivid blue color with minimal product and no change in texture.

Whether you’re tinting buttercream, fondant, royal icing, or cookie dough, this 8.8 oz (250 g) bottle supplies a long-lasting, professional-grade blue that blends smoothly. The thick gel formula gives intense pigmentation so you need only a few drops to reach deep shades, while the squeeze bottle and easy-open lid let you control dosage for consistent results across batches.

How much color do I need for different baking projects?

The ENCO gel is highly concentrated, so start with a small amount and build color gradually. For pastel tones a single tiny drop will usually suffice; for vibrant or deep navy blues, add drops incrementally until you reach the shade you want.

• Buttercream frosting: start with 1–2 small drops per cup and mix thoroughly before adding more.
• Fondant: knead in 1–3 small squeezes for medium shades; more for intense color.
• Royal icing: add drop-by-drop while mixing to avoid over-coloring thin consistencies.
• Cookie dough: fold in sparingly to keep dough texture intact.

Will ENCO gel affect recipe consistency or flavor?

The gel is formulated to impart color without altering texture or taste when used as directed. Because the dye is concentrated and gel-based, it integrates without adding excess liquid, preserving the original consistency of icings and batters.

• Gel base prevents thinning of frostings and icings.
• Minimal volume required reduces risk of flavor dilution.
• Designed for even dispersion to avoid streaking.
• Suitable for small and large batches with consistent outcomes.

How do I measure and store this 8.8 oz bottle for best results?

Use the squeeze bottle’s precise tip to control drop size, and reserve excess product in a cool, dry place. Keep the lid tightly closed to prevent drying or color contamination, and store away from direct sunlight to preserve vibrancy.

• Close lid after each use to prevent hardening at the tip.
• Room temperature storage away from heat and light recommended.
• Shake or stir if settling occurs before use.
• Label storage date if used in professional kitchens for inventory control.

Is this suitable for professional and home bakers?

ENCO Bright Blue is created for both home baking enthusiasts and professional pastry chefs who need dependable color performance. Its concentrated formula and controlled dispensing make it practical for single cupcakes or high-volume commercial production.

• Large 8.8 oz size reduces frequent repurchasing for busy kitchens.
• Precision tip supports detailed decorating and small adjustments.
• Vegan labeling fits plant-based ingredient preferences.
• Consistent coloring helps maintain brand or event color standards.

Who is this for: Bakers, cake decorators, confectioners, and home cooks who want a dependable, high-pigment blue coloring that won’t thin icings or alter texture. ENCO Bright Blue suits anyone needing professional-looking results whether working on single treats or large batch runs.
