Big Island Bees Ohia Lehua Organic Honey — 9 oz Single-Flower Raw, Creamy Spreadable

Big Island Bees Honey Ohia Lehua Organic is a 9-ounce jar of single-flower, raw Hawaiian honey with a creamy, spreadable texture and a delicate floral flavor.

Harvested on Hawaii’s Big Island, this Ohia Lehua honey is certified organic and handled without heat, filtration, or blending to preserve its natural enzymes, aroma, and smooth crystallization. The single-flower source delivers a consistent, subtle taste that pairs well with tea, toast, yogurt, or baking. Packed in a glass jar, each 9-ounce pot contains roughly a dozen servings at about 70 calories each, making it an easy pantry staple for sweetening or finishing foods.

What makes Ohia Lehua honey different from other honeys?

Ohia Lehua honey comes from nectar collected primarily from the Lehua blossom native to Hawaii, giving it a distinct but gentle floral profile. Because this jar is single-flower and raw, you get a purer expression of that blossom’s character — not a blended, commercial flavor.

• Single-flower (Ohia Lehua) origin for a consistent taste
• Unheated and unfiltered to retain natural components
• Delicate, lightly floral aroma suitable for subtle pairings

How does the texture and processing affect how I use it?

The honey is naturally smoothly crystallized, producing a creamy, spreadable consistency right from the jar. Since it’s not heated or filtered, you’ll notice a satisfying body and mouthfeel that makes it easy to spread on bread, stir into warm drinks, or spoon over desserts.

• Creamy, spreadable texture—no need to warm for spreading
• Raw handling preserves flavor and natural enzymes (no heat applied)
• Glass jar packaging keeps flavor intact and is reusable

How many servings are in a 9-ounce jar and what is the nutrition snapshot?

A 9-ounce jar provides about 12 servings, with each serving containing roughly 70 calories and zero grams of fat. This makes it an easy calorie-controlled sweetener option for everyday uses like tea or baked goods when used in moderation.

• Approximately 12 servings per 9-ounce jar
• About 70 calories per serving, 0 g fat
• Use as a measured sweetener to control portion size

How should I store it and how long will it keep?

Because the honey is raw and stored in a glass jar, keep it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to maintain texture and flavor. Properly stored honey can remain stable for a long time; natural crystallization may change its appearance but not its quality.

• Store in a cool, dry pantry away from heat and sunlight
• Glass jar protects flavor and is recyclable or refillable
• Crystallization is normal; gently warm jar in a water bath if preferred

Who is this for: This Big Island Bees Ohia Lehua Organic honey is ideal for shoppers who want a single-origin, artisanal Hawaiian honey with a delicate floral profile and creamy texture. It suits home cooks, tea lovers, bakers, and anyone seeking an unblended, certified-organic spreadable honey packaged in glass. If you prefer bold, robust honeys or blends, this subtle Lehua variety may be less prominent, but it excels when you want a refined, native-flower taste.
