What is inside the 1 oz Alebrixes Osha Root package?

The pouch contains intact pieces of Ligusticum porteri root (commonly labeled as Osha, chuchupate, or raiz de oso) totaling approximately 28 grams. Roots are presented in a natural, unblended state without additives or fillers.

• Net weight: 1 ounce (28 g)
• Form: whole root sections—dry and unprocessed
• Origin: wild-harvested in Mexico
• Purity: no artificial ingredients or bulking agents

How can I prepare and use Alebrixes Osha Root at home?

Osha root can be sliced, crushed, or steeped depending on how you want to extract flavor and aroma. Many users simmer small pieces in hot water to make an herbal infusion; others add thin slices to blends or tincture preparations. Store unused root in a cool, dry place to preserve its scent and quality.

• Slicing: cut thin pieces to increase surface area for steeping
• Infusion: simmer 5–15 minutes for a robust decoction
• Tincture: soak in alcohol or glycerin for several weeks for extract
• Storage: airtight container away from heat and sunlight

Where does this Osha Root come from and how is it harvested?

Each package contains root imported from Mexico and sourced from regions where Ligusticum porteri grows naturally. ALEBRIXES emphasizes responsible harvesting practices that seek to minimize ecological impact and maintain the plant population for future harvests.

• Regional harvest: collected in Mexican highland areas where Osha thrives
• Wild-harvested: not cultivated in industrial monocultures
• Sustainability: gathered with attention to plant regeneration
• Traceability: origin and traditional naming reflected on the label

How should I store and preserve this small 1 oz supply?

Because the package is modest in size, proper storage extends shelf life and keeps aroma intact. Keep the root dry, sealed, and away from strong odors to avoid flavor transfer; refrigeration is optional but not required if stored correctly.

• Airtight jar or vacuum pouch for best freshness
• Cool, dark location to maintain essential scent profile
• Use within months for strongest aromatic character
• Label with open date to track freshness
